Foyle Port has long supported the development of the local tourism industry and in the 1990s was at the forefront of cruise tourism in Northern Ireland. Since then the Port has welcomed cruise visits from some of the most prestigious operators in the industry including Silversea, Crystal and Carnival and thousands of visitors are facilitated by the Port annually.
Foyle Port has a number of berthing options available to facilitate vessels of varying size including Fort George cruise berth located in the heart of Derry/Londonderry as well as the main Port terminal at Lisahally and the tender Port of Greencastle in County Donegal. The Foyle Port Marina is the city’s newest marine facility. Situated in the heart of the historic city of Derry/Londonderry it is an ideal base from which to explore the North West of Ireland, the Scottish Islands or as a starting point for UK cruising. Foyle Port Marina provides visitors with the opportunity to discover the cultural heritage of Ireland’s only completely walled city, the delights of the North Antrim Coast and the Giant’s Causeway and the rugged beauty as well as the hinterland of the Inishowen Penninsula and Donegal.
