Cruise and Pleasure Craft

Located in the North West region, close to the Irish Sea cruising routes and the Western Isles of Scotland, The Foyle Marina is situated on the River Foyle in the heart of the historic Walled City of Derry.

Londonderry Port installed the Foyle Pontoon in July 2003, a 200 metre berthing facility in the heart of the city. We now have the capacity to welcome boat owners to visit the city, and to create a platform to promote our maritime heritage. During 2012 this facility is being upgraded to include an additional 100 meter berthing facility and marine events platform. Our new facilities will host the Yachts of the Clipper Round the World Yacht race during the summer of 2012.

Cruise Facilities.

Londonderry Port has been welcoming cruise vessels since 1995. The list of companies that have visited the port since 1995 include some of the most prestigious operators in the industry: Crystal, Cunard, Residensea, Seabourn and Silverseas ships have all used the facilities. Various berths are available within the port to accommodate cruise vessels, depending on size, utilising facilities at Lisahally the City Quays or Greencastle.
